Ford Thunderbird is the second most beautiful car ever made! The 1965 Ford Thunderbird was way ahead of its time. It had sequential turn signals, horizontal tail lights, and a long sleek body. We actually had one when I was a kid. It was a “Special Edition” Thunderbird with a white top and power windows. Funny thing is –  at the time I was so embarrassed to be seen in this “old car”!Hah!

My father had a Thunderbird, a Charger, and some really cool muscle cars. I was too young to appreciate them. It is rumored to be the birth of the personal luxury car (although other manufacturers love claiming that title for their models). It was offered in hardtop, convertible, and Landeau versions. The V8 engibe with it’s 3 speed automatic transmission went from 0 to 60 in 9.7 seconds and got 10.5 mpg. Whoa…today that would be a big no-no – it would cost $10 to get to the store & back!

Fine Art Prints of this painting are available in 8″ x 10″ for $25.00 plus $5.00 shipping. Every Print is matted and signed by the Artist.
